Network-wide > RADIUS profiles [Adding 802.1X and WPA2-Enterprise on your Meter Network]

Meter Network supports 802.1X for authentication, providing an added layer of security. 802.1X can currently be leveraged on wireless SSIDs (with WPA2-Enterprise).

To set up 802.1X, we'll need to establish communication between your Meter Network and your RADIUS server. To do this, navigate to Network-wide > RADIUS Profiles and click on 'Add RADIUS profile' to expand the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

The menu will contain the following fields:

Label - The name used to reference your profile in the Dashboard.

Authentication server - Enter the IP address, port number, and secret of the RADIUS provider's authentication server.

Accounting server (Optional) - Enter the IP address, port number, and secret of the RADIUS provider's accounting server.

Once created you will have the option to use the RADIUS profile for authentication when modifying or creating a new SSID.
