Default Meter VLANs Routing Policies

On the Meter Controller - the following VLANs are defined by default:

10.101.0.0/16 - LTE and WAN failover management

10.102.0.0/16 - Access Point Management

10.103.0.0/16 - Private Network

10.104.0.0/16 - Guest Network

10.106.0.0/16 - Untagged/Switch Management

LTE/WAN failover management and access point management must remain as their defaults.

During deployment - our Operations team will ask if there are any other network requirements.

If you are curious to know what VLANs are currently defined on your Meter Controller these can be seen under the ‘VLANs’ section at https://dashboard.meter.com/ 

Default Routing Policies

By default any interVLAN communication is blocked.

If you require an additional VLAN, a change to you current VLANs, or communication between 2 or more VLANs please reach out to Meter support at https://meter.com/support and our team will be able to help!
